THE DARING WAY™ : 4 PRACTICES FOR A WHOLEHEARTED LIFE
Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, this workshop will explore 4 important practices to keep us in meaningful connection with our own hearts, our loved-ones, and prevent us from the painful spiral of shame.
The Daring Way™ is a psycho-educational course based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown PhD, researcher and author of the #1 New York Times Bestseller, Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the way we Live, Love, Parent, and Lead. Group size limited to eight participants.
Sessions will include video, writing prompts, facilitated discussion and creative activity.
This is a 4-week series that will explore each of the below practices:
1Vulnerability – The birthplace of love, connection, courage and creativity. We will dispel the myth that vulnerability is weakness, and discover how to take small steps toward this powerful practice.
2Trust & Empathy – Looking deep inside our own stories to connect with the experience of others; empathy is a gift for the people we love and for ourselves.
3Honoring Our Values – Standing strong in our values is a practice that both defines and empowers us. Honoring our values is the key to living everyday from a place of self-love and integrity.
4The Open Heart – We armor up every morning to get through the day. But the armor keeps us from being seen; really truly seen. What happens when we identify the armor and take a peek underneath? Oh, the places we’ll go!
